St. Catharines, ON (April 16, 2017) – The Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series is proud to announce additional support from FEL (Franczak Enterprises Ltd) for the upcoming season! Along with $5000 to the Super Series Champion, over $10,000 to the “B’ Class Championship, and up to $10,000 to competitors travelling from afar, FEL will also present three exciting post-season awards!

First, the FEL Social Media Award. At the year-end ceremony, $1000 will be presented to the driver who consistently promotes the support of FEL in the most high quality and creative methods across a variety of social media platforms. Posts promoting the F1600 Championship and individual performances should tag the FEL Facebook page for tracking purposes, and include photos and video.

Second, the FEL Best-Presented Team Award. Also at the year-end awards ceremony, $1000 will be presented to the driver/team that best emulates the FEL approach at events. Clean cars, equipment, and professional looking team members are the signature of FEL and the team that most consistently demonstrates these attributes while incorporating FEL decals throughout the season will be the recipient of this award.

Third, FEL Team Canada Support. If the 2017 Team Canada Scholarship recipient is from the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series and the competitor has run FEL decals all season while vying for consideration for the FEL Social Media Award and FEL Best-Presented Team Award, FEL will also support the Team Canada Scholarship recipient with two air tickets to the 2017 Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch!

On top of the prize money package FEL will pay $300 tow money to the first five A or B class entrants who travel more than 350 kms to any of the Ontario F1600 Series races. The $300 is paid out per race weekend, rather than per race.
