Our first race weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park did not disappoint the thousands of fans on hand to watch some great racing! Friday’s practice session was unfortunately a wet track due to a late afternoon shower but that did not dampen a few drivers from taking to the track. Saturday was cloudy but dry and Sunday proved to be a glorious sunny day with lots of on track action!
Race #1 on Saturday afternoon went the full 22 minutes showcasing lots of close racing and passing throughout the 24 car field. In the end Connor Clubine edged out Antonio Costantino for his first win of the season in A class. In B class Steve Bodrug pulled of the win ahead of Andrew Mason. Rounding out the podium in A Class was Henderson Knox and in B Class Bill Tebbutt.

Hard Charger Race #1 – Mike Lee
Race #2 on Sunday morning provided another 22 minutes of close racing and lots of passing back and forth throughout the field. At the end of the race the A class resulted in the same podium positions despite numerous lead changes. The B class had a slightly different final podium but was equally exciting with lots of passes. Connor Clubine took the A Class win and returning 2023 champion Dylan McPherson took the B Class win.

Hard Charger Race #2 – Calum Dunbar
Race # 3 on Sunday afternoon did not disappoint the fans who stayed to watch after the finish of the NASCAR race. The battles in both classes continued despite a 2 lap caution during the race. In the end the A class was swept in all 3 positions by the same drivers. The B class saw the same top 2 as the previous race and in his first weekend racing with us a new face took 3rd place, Sean Dwyer.
