Continuing on with highlights from the FEL – Automotive Learning + Promotion A class in the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship, today we recognize Zachary Vanier from Garson, Ontario. After scoring his first career win in his final start a year ago, Vanier was the model of consistency for Britain West Motorsports in his second season, culminating with the runner-up spot in the top class. He reeled off 6 wins and 17 podiums over the course of the year, and added both qualifying and race track records at Shannonville Motorsport Park in the process. Vanier’s speed and consistency were also noticed by Team Canada Scholarship organizer Brian Graham, and following the season Vanier headed to England to represent Canada at the famous Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch. Congratulations Zachary!
