Round 5 Results

Round 5 took the series to Calabogie Motorsport Park for the Summer Trophy Races. Despite the severe weather warnings all around we had no rain sessions and only Saturday practice had a wet track.

Race 1 saw a similar podium in A class that we have seen all season long but Antonio Costantino was keeping it close! Race 2 had a similar finish with Antonio posting the fastest lap giving him the pole for Race 3. Connor Clubine managed to come out on top of Race 3 for another weekend sweep.

The B class had a familiar podium finish in Race 1. Unfortunately Dylan McPherson had a mechanical issue partway through Race 2 which changed up the podium for 3rd place. Race 3 had the same podium finishers from Race 2. We have had very consistent racing all season in both classes.

Of special note is our Race 3 Hard Charger Michael Dowden. He is a SIM racer who decided to try out the real physical racing. For someone never racing on a physical track before he had a great weekend finishing 5th overall in Race 3 to take the Hard Charger award.
