April 2026 F1600 Update
We will not be having an AGM on April 19th as stated in the last newsletter due to logistics and time constraints. We will try to keep you all informed about what is going on.
Spring Testing
The spring fling at Shannonville Motorsport Park is Apr 19th. CASC scrutineers will be there to issue annual techs and a day of testing. Please contact Shannonville for more details.
BGR have 2 upcoming test days at the Mosport DDT track on April 21 and 22. Limited space is available. Please contact Brian Graham for availability and pricing 705-718-3182.
Regional test day on Friday May 8th at Mosport. Contact Mosport for registration.
For those of you whose car is not ready but you are, call John at HIP Motorsports for a couple of hours of SIM tuning and testing.
Victoria Day Speedfest
Our first race is Victoria Day Speedfest on May 15-17. Registration will open the first week of May on Motorsport Regs and I will let you know when it is open. Attached is the Victoria Day Speedfest schedule. Optional test sessions are available on Friday morning and the registration form is attached here.
For those who plan on using radios that weekend you must obtain a radio license. The email with the procedure is attached.
Toyo Tire F1600 Membership
Membership is open for the Toyo Tire F1600 Championship this year. Membership has it advantages. You must be a member to take advantage of our points and prizes. You are guaranteed 2 tires during the season plus Toyo Tire swag, a free BBQ at the July BARC event and other series incentives.
The steering committee is still working on our prize package for the season, announcements to be made soon.
