The Toyo Tires F1600 season opener to be delayed. The organizing club, BEMC, has made the decision to postpone the Spring Trophy Races scheduled for May 9th and 10th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. As we all continue to monitor and follow the advice of our government and health officials to deal with the current health crisis, it has become apparent that the beginning of the season must be delayed.
The Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs (CASC-OR) Spring Fling event that was to be held in mid April at Shannonville Motorsport Park has been cancelled.
It is our hope that at some point we will be able to start our race season. We will continue to keep you informed as the situation changes and evolves.
We hope all of you are continuing to stay safe and healthy through this COVID-19 pandemic. Please continue to follow the recommendations of our federal and provincial governments and health officials to self-isolate and social distance to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
